Stud link Chain also referred to as Anchor chain is strong chain and has a short cross-piece (Stud) across its middle which gives the chain extra rigidity and thus increase the
lifespan based on fatigue.
Stud link chain is normally used as anchor cable chain, but can also serve the purpose of mooring chain.
MES stud link chain normally comes in lengths of 27.5 metres and supplied with black bitumen coating and provided in grades U2 and U3.
Our Stud link chain can all be provided with chain link fittings such as Kenter Shackles or Joining shackles, our Studlink chain and fittings come with test certification to all the
relevant class societies and Lloyds Approval if required.
